The Sydney Morning Herald reports that an Iraqi man turned himself into authorities in Baghdad, confessing that he killed his 19-year-old daughter after learning that she had been recruited by Al-Qaeda as a suicide bomber. Recently, Al-Qaeda has been recruiting women because they can pass through security check points easier.

PressTV reports that a 20-year-old Somali woman was assaulted with pepper spray outside of an Ohio mosque. The attacker reportedly threatened to kill the woman and demanded that she leave the country. Police have since handed over the incident to the local prosecutor’s office.

According to the CBC News, police in Ottowa are looking for a bank robber who dons a Muslim woman’s head scarf and dark robe to cover his hair, face and body while robbing banks. The suspect is believed to be responsible for at least four robberies since the summer.
